Looking for a summer job or a way to pick up extra hours during the week or weekends that gets you outdoors instead of stuck inside? Seven Oaks Recreation is hiring River Float Staff (18+) to help create great experiences for our guests on the Des Moines River!

Position Details

💲 $16–$17/hour (based on availability and experience)
📍 Outdoor, riverfront work environment
📅 Must be available weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

*Transport canoes, kayaks, and river tubes to and from launch and pickup locations
*Assist guests with launching and exiting the river
*Provide excellent customer service and river safety information
*Safely handle equipment and maintain transportation schedules
*Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

✅ Must be 18 years of age or older
✅ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
✅ Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
✅ Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
✅ Dependable and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
