**Job Title: Packaging Line Worker**
**Job Description**
The Packaging Line Worker operates and supports production equipment on a packaging line, performing tasks such as machine operation, slitting, assembly, labeling, quality control, and packaging. The role may also include minor equipment set-up and basic mechanical adjustments to ensure smooth and efficient production.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate packaging line equipment, including slitter machines, in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Perform assembly tasks as required to prepare products for packaging.
+ Apply labels accurately and consistently according to specifications.
+ Conduct basic quality control checks to ensure products meet established standards.
+ Complete general packaging duties, including packing, sealing, and preparing products for shipment.
+ Assist with minor equipment set-up and adjustments to support continuous production.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 6 months of prior warehouse experience or equivalent experience.
+ 2 years of machine operation and/or packaging experience.
+ Experience with machine operation in a production or manufacturing environment.
+ Experience with packaging and assembly tasks in a production setting.
+ Basic mechanical aptitude to support minor equipment operation and set-up.
+ Material handling experience in a warehouse or production environment.
+ Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
+ Basic reading, writing, and math skills to follow instructions, labels, and production documentation.
+ Ability to work effectively as part of a small team on a production line.
+ Ability to follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Prior experience working on a packaging or production line.
+ Comfort working with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.
+ Ability to adapt to changing production needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Willingness to work overtime based on production volume requirements.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a clean production and warehouse environment, working in small teams of 23 or 34 people on the packaging line. The standard schedule is a first shift, Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the possibility of overtime depending on production volume. Contractors are expected to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow all safety and operational guidelines. The dress code includes jeans or other sturdy work pants; leggings and sweatpants are not permitted. Required personal protective equipment includes safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and cut-resistant gloves, which must be worn as directed. Contractors are required to provide their own steel toe boots.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $20.00/hr.
