Webster City CSD is seeking a Gifted & Talented (TAG) Teacher serving grades K12 who believes advanced learners deserve engaging opportunities to grow, explore their interests, and develop their talents — and who enjoys collaborating with teachers across grade levels to support student success.

What You’ll Do

+ Provide instruction and enrichment opportunities for gifted and talented students (K – 12)

+ Collaborate with classroom teachers to support differentiation and enrichment

+ Assist in identifying students who demonstrate advanced academic potential

+ Support the development of challenging and engaging learning experiences

+ Foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among advanced learners

+ Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth

+ Minimum starting salary: $50,000 for educators new to the profession

(The 2026 – 27 salary schedule is pending board approval.)

Licensure / Endorsement Requirements

Preferred candidates will hold one or more of the following Iowa endorsements appropriate for gifted education and instruction:

+ K – 12 Talented & Gifted – 107

+ K – 8 Reading -148

+ K – 6 Elementary Classroom Teacher – 102

+ Secondary Content Area Endorsement (5 -12)

+ Other applicable Iowa teaching endorsements may also be considered.

Candidates who are eligible for licensure or are currently completing an approved teacher preparation program are encouraged to apply.

Candidates without the TAG endorsement but willing to obtain it may also be considered.

Job Requirements

+ Citizenship, residency, or a work visa is required.
