The Wall That Heals
We are being honored to host The Wall That Heals in Nevada, Iowa on Thursday, August 7, 2025 – Sunday, August 10, 2025 at the Score Park Complex in Nevada. Nevada will be the only site in Iowa hosting this event in 2025.
The Wall That Heals honors the 58,281 service members who lost their lives and all who served defending our country during the Vietnam War. A traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., the exhibit consists of The Wall That Heals and the mobile Education Center. This three-quarter replica is 375 feet long and stands 7.5 feet high at its tallest point.
The Wall That Heals is free to the public and will be open 24 hours a day until closing at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 10. Tours are available for groups on Thursday and Friday evenings and all-day Saturday. Each tour group is guided by a VVMF staff member and lasts approximately 45 minutes, including time for questions.
