Free Children’s Concert (Rolling Hills Music Festival)

Discover classical music, Iowa style! As part of its inaugural 2026 season, Rolling Hills Music Festival presents a one-of-a-kind concert for youth and their families at Ames Public Library.

From bird calls to love songs to country jigs, this homegrown music will inspire focused listening, full-body movement, and fresh perspectives on just how creative our beautiful state is.

Following the performance, attendees will have the opportunity to ask our professional musicians questions and explore string instruments up close.
