+ Substitute teachers earn $140 per day. Additionally, if long-term substitute teachers earn $185.19 per day after ten consecutive days in the same assignment

+ Substitute paraprofessionals earn $100 per day.

+ Gain experience and display teaching skills while seeking a contracted position.

+ You select the days and schools in which you want to work using the automated system AESOP.

+ IPERS eligible beginning first day of active employment

Requirements

+ All substitutes must submit to a criminal background check.

+ Substitute teachers must have a valid Iowa Teaching License, Iowa Substitute License or Substitute Authorization.

+ Substitute teachers must provide copies of their official transcripts

Once these required items have been submitted you will receive all the necessary payroll information via our online onboarding system.
