Role Summary
We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Service Technician to deliver peace of mind through service that puts “People Over Pests.” The ideal candidate embodies our “quiet excellence”—combining an approachable, neighborly demeanor with a commitment to getting the job “Done Right the First Time.”
Duties and Responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain certification in Iowa (Commercial Pesticide Applicator – Core and 7A certifications required to perform job duties)
- Perform pest control service according to company policies and best practices
- Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate dangerous, destructive, or annoying pests
- Spray perimeters of homes and structures for termites, ants, cockroaches, and other insects
- Set traps for rodents
- Cover holes and cracks with foam, mesh, and wood to hinder rodent and insect entry
- Maintain accurate written details and hours worked in service software
- Maintain safe working conditions and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
- Maintain clean vehicles, shop, equipment, and job sites
- Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment and be willing to adapt cheerfully to changes in daily routine
- May assist the General Manager or Senior Technician with other duties as needed

Compensation
- $18.50+/hour (depending on experience)
- 3% company match in Simple IRA plan
