About Bound
We believe an athletic director’s job is one of the most critical in a community: to shape the lives and experiences of student-athletes. But as we listened, we learned that with dwindling budgets and growing responsibilities, they’ve had no choice but to spend more time managing logistics than leading their teams and programs. After countless conversations, we gained a deep understanding of their challenges, from handling transactions to managing schedules and tracking results.
This insight was the catalyst for Bound. We created an all-in-one platform to give ADs back their time. With our OneSchedule Technology at its core, our platform integrates essential tools like Activity Registration, Tickets and Passes, and 20+ additional solutions. Today, Bound empowers schools across the country to manage every aspect of their athletics and activities, all within a single, unified solution.
We’re not just a software company; we are a team made up of former athletic directors, administrators, coaches, parents, and fans. We all share one core belief: in the power of youth sports and activities to positively impact communities and the people who live in them.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a significant area of Bound’s product — driving strategy, discovery, and delivery for features that serve athletic directors, business offices, coaches, and families. You’ll combine deep user empathy with sharp analytical thinking to decide what we build, why, and in what order. You’ll work cross-functionally with Design, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to ship products that make a real difference for school communities. Additionally, this role will include the coaching and mentoring of other Product Managers on the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for a core product area, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
- Conduct discovery work — user interviews, data analysis, competitive research — to identify high-impact opportunities
- Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Partner with Design and Engineering to define, build, and iterate on solutions
- Define and track success metrics; use data to inform decisions and measure outcomes
- Communicate product plans and progress to leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand market needs and incorporate feedback
- Mentor other PMs and contribute to the maturity of the product organization
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or platform products
- Track record of shipping impactful products from concept through launch and iteration
- AI-first mindset — you leverage AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) across your workflow, from user research analysis and writing specs to competitive intelligence, and you think critically about how AI can enhance the product experience for users
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable with data, metrics, and using evidence to drive decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with distributed teams across Product, Design, and Engineering
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-moving environment
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Domain experience in education technology, school administration, or sports management is a strong plus
