A growing lawn care and landscaping company in Ames, Iowa, is hiring an operations Manager to run day-to-day field operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone
Who knows the green industry, can lead crews, and keep jobs moving!

What You’ll Do
Run daily mowing and lawn care operations
Schedule crews, manage routes, and handle call-offs
Lead crews in the field when needed
Oversee fertilizer/chemical applications and compliance
Keep equipment running and manage shop maintenance
Train, coach, and hold employees accountable
Fix problems fast—crews, equipment, or customers
Help with snow and winter operations
Be on call during peak season

What We’re Looking For
5+ years of lawn care/landscaping experience
Proven crew leadership (foreman, lead, or ops role)
Strong knowledge of mowing and fertilizer programs
Mechanical skills and equipment experience
Can make decisions and take ownership
Comfortable using scheduling and routing software
Valid driver’s license
3OT License (or ability to maintain)

Pay & Benefits
$25–$30/hour (salaried), based on experience
50–60 hours/week in peak season
PTO, health & dental insurance
Company vehicle or fuel card
Raises and bonuses based on performance
