**Construction General Laborer**

**What You’ll Do**
As a General Laborer, you’ll play a key role in supporting insulation projects that improve energy efficiency and system performance. Your day-to-day work will include:
+ Installing insulation on pipes, ducts, and mechanical systems
+ Cleaning and preparing surfaces to ensure proper insulation application
+ Measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation materials to precise specifications
+ Assisting experienced insulators with material handling and tool setup
+ Maintaining tools and keeping the job site clean and organized
+ Following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE at all times
**What We’re Looking For**
**Required:**
+ Experience in construction or general labor
+ Valid driver’s license
+ Ability to work safely in an active construction environment
**Preferred (but not required):**
+ Experience with insulation or mechanical systems
+ Willingness to learn a skilled trade and grow within the company

**Work Environment**
You’ll work on active construction sites where safety is a top priority. Required PPE includes steel-toed boots, hard hat, high-visibility clothing, and safety glasses. Before starting, you should have:
+ Steel-toe boots
+ Tape measure
+ Red aviation snips
+ Small channel locks
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nevada, IA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00/hr.
