Job Description:

The Marketing Coordinator will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the nonprofit and its programs through social media, email communications, and website design. The ideal candidate will be creative, have excellent communication skills, and be enthusiastic about using social media to promote the nonprofit’s mission.

Responsibilities:

– Assist with developing and implementing social media content and campaigns across various platforms (Facebook)

– Help create and distribute monthly newsletters and email communications to the nonprofit’s audience

– Assist in coordinating, planning, and promoting fundraisers

– Help design website pages and flyers to promote events and programs

– Assist with creating and analyzing social media and email marketing metrics to determine their effectiveness

– Provide marketing and fundraising support and assistance to the Executive Director as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

– Experience with or willing to learn Canva, Wix, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel

– Strong writing and communication skills along with discernment to know when and what to post

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

– Passionate about nonprofit work and making a difference in the community
