Science with Cyclones
Science with Cyclones is inspired by a famous program at The Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University-called the Flame Challenge-in which scientists craft engaging explanations of everyday, yet complex, scientific concepts that can draw in a young audience (for example, explaining what a flame is). Similarly, Science with Cyclones has science students from Iowa State University explaining concepts like ‘why boats float,’ ‘how lightening works,’ and ‘what’s a blood type’ with twenty interactive displays to explore.
Cy will attend and learn alongside guests!
