Description

McFarland Clinic is currently seeking a Technical Analyst to join our telecommunications team. This role will focus on supporting and maintaining VoIP phone systems and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. The candidates need to reside in the state of Iowa. This position is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

+ Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP systems and related hardware/software.

+ Apply system updates, patches, and configuration changes.

+ Diagnose and resolve call quality issues, connectivity problems, and system errors.

+ Implement and maintain security protocols for voice systems; ensure compliance with organizational standards.

+ Maintain accurate records of configurations, changes and maintenance activities.

+ Work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure seamless integration and performance.

Education

+ Associate’s Degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Days: Monday – Friday, with occasional evening or weekend, plus on call rotation

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Experience

+ Unix Knowledge beneficial

+ 3+ years telecommunication experience

+ SIP, SBC and Voice Gateway experience

+ Structural Cabling (CAT5 and 6)

+ Strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication, and collaborative mindset
