Description
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a CNA/CMA/LPN for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Duties include: rooming patients, assisting providers in exam rooms, assisting providers with in-office procedures, phone calls, stocking rooms. Assisting at front desk as needed. Prior authorizations as needed. Go to Outreach as needed. Position comes with competitive clinic pay and valuable benefits package
Education
+ Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program with verification of certification.
+ Graduate from accredited program for Medical Assistants or accredited school of nursing
Certification/License
+ Completion of 75-hour basic Certified Nursing Assistant Program or Completion of Advanced Nurse Aide Program with certificate.
+ Certification or registration from an approved certifying organization for Medical Assistants (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT & NHA)
+ Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
+ Possession of State Licensed Practical Nurse license
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Experience
+ Previous CNA experience preferred.
+ Previous clinic experience preferred.
+ Strong typing skills preferred.
+ Medical Terminology is required within 1 year of employment.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
