Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for CMA/LPN/RN for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: Assessing patients’ health concerns via phone or MyChart messaging, providing medical advice using established protocols, educating patients. Responsibilities may also include: rooming patients, assisting providers in exam rooms, assisting providers with in-office procedures, and stocking rooms.

Education

+ Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.

+ Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Certification/License

+ Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA.

+ Possession of a State Licensed Practical Nurse license.

+ Possession of a State Registered Nurse license.

+ Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Experience

+ Previous hospital or clinic experience.

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
