Rheinmetall Expal Munitions is looking for a new Strategic Buyer for Indirect Materials and Services in Procurement at our Madrid Headquarter.

Functions:

+ Development of methods for the procurement of all indirect materials, services and supplies

+ Sharing of requirements with requesting departments and facilities

+ Market and supplier monitoring

+ Identification, selection, evaluation and further development of suppliers

+ Analysis and management of procurement costs to optimize spending

+ Identification of cost saving opportunities and implementation of efficiency strategies

+ Active participation in the implementation of general procurement regulations (compliance, governance, trading partner rules, legal framework, etc.)

+ Independent development of solutions to problems within area of responsibility

+ Preparation of documents for decision making

+ Conclusion of optimal agreements with suppliers, even in complex procurement processes

Location: Av. del Partenón, Madrid.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields

+ At least 2 year of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management

+ Strong negotiation, communication and problem solving skills

+ Fluent Spanish and English
